Idris Elba teams up with Laura Mvula for 'Phenomenal Woman' remix
Luther star Idris Elba has teamed up with songstress Laura Mvula for a remix of her latest track ‘Phenomenal Woman’.
Mistajam debuted the remix on his 1Xtra show, with the original edit of the single already available to download. Idris has added a touch of 90’s flex to the track and we can just imagine the remix being played across every club in the near future.
Despite being most known for his acting work, Idris also has a vast musical history. Last year, he released the Luther inspired album Murdah Loves John. He has also rapped on a remix of Skepta’s ‘Shutdown’ and has made appearances on John Newman and Macklemore/Ryan Lewis’ albums.

‘Phenomenal Woman’ is the latest single from Laura Mvula and follows ‘Overcome’ featuring Nile Rodgers and ‘People’ featuring Wretch 32. They are all available now when you pre-order Laura’s album The Dreaming Room, due for release on June 17.
